Black Board Blues Band We're proud to welcome back this fantastic 10-piece band. Their unstoppable energy and full sound keeps the beat in you moving! The BBB plays tunes from classic Funk, Rock, Soul, Blues and RnB hits from the 70's to present day - attracting fans of all ages. In 2011 we rocked and danced to songs like "Walking on Sunshine", "Mustang Sally", "Lady Marmalade", "Black Velvet", "Freeway of Love" and "You Can Leave Your Hat On". "Sense of Community" Marketplace & Vendors. Located in the south parking lot of the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, our "Sense of Community" Marketplace is an interesting mix of over 30 vendors and exhibitors with intriguing sensory experiences for all ages.

Cosmo School of Music Rocks! Come out and support the music students from the Cosmo School of Music. Featuring a variety of music genres, instruments and ages, this will be a true showcase of young local talent. This year we are happy to highlight the rock band Man Machine as well as the One In A Million band with their original songs. Be sure to bring your kids to see these young musicians perform. Derek Christie Band

Richmond Hill based singer songwriter and independent recording artist Derek Christie is becoming a known quantity in and around town. His songs draw upon influences as diverse as garage to gospel, and roots to rock. If an artist reference is required, Neil Diamond meets Patti Smith, with Bruce Springsteen in the mix. After releasing his most recent album 'Secrets' last year, he has (or will have) performed with his band at a number of venues and events such as the Richmond Hill Centre For The Performing Arts, Canadian Music Fest, Canada Day at Richmond Green, Walk Against Poverty, and the Millpond Concert Series 'Richmond Hill's Got Talent' evening. Through their performances, Derek and his band also support a number of charities and community groups such as the Richmond Hill Community Food Bank, Out of The Cold, Five With DRIVE Foundation, David Dunlap Observatory Defenders, Angel's Garage, Sick Kids Hospital, and The United Way. www.derekchristie.com

Another band to keep you dancing & singing... Pink Cadillac! A local fav at many of Richmond Hill's pubs, this versatile and high-energy four-piece ensemble will keep you out of your seats. Featuring Top 40 songs and old ones that will bring back memories including classic rock, blues and soul, we’re looking forward to another fantastic local performance!

Soulchild: A little something new to the festival... we're pleased to bring in Soulchild for their 5 Senses Festival debut! The best part...they love to party! They'll get you moving with their horn section, wailing guitars, funky slap bass and thundering drum solo. If you love R&B, Rock, Blues, Funk or Soul, Soulchild will be delivering a live experience that sounds like the Vinyl records of both new and old! This band features Terry & Liz Fitzgerald (from the Cosmo Music family!), Jonathan Amador, Roger Rowe, Graydon Drake, Ben Burke, Joe Schepis & David Jager. Their sound will blow your mind! Teresa Marchione

Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Southern Italian parents, Teresa Marchione showed the gift of song at an early age. By the time she was 11 she was a regular, singing for local events and festivals within the Canadian/Italian community. At age 13 she got the lead of "Sandy" in the school production of Grease and knew for certain that she belonged on stage. Teresa continues to grow as an artist captivating both small and large audiences all over Ontario with her dynamic stage presence and expressive vocal style. Her personality, versatility and variety of music allow her to master any type of event. In 2006, Teresa was hired to perform for a Yorkville Art Gallery showing of a contemporary French impressionist and fell in love with all things Jazz. Teresa sings and speaks fluent Italian and is still very much proud of her heritage and involved in the Italian community.

George St. Kitts

George St. Kitts has shared his gift of song since the age of three, performing vocals that led to a dazzling career on stage and producing musical revues. Founder of St. Kitts Music Inc., writer-producer George was twice nominated for Juno Awards in 1993 and 1996 for independently produced R & B tunes. His latest album "A Lot of Livin' To Do" in the big band jazz style, exudes his world-class talent and showmanship. A consummate entertainer and versatile vocalist, George has given stellar performances in the Broadway musical "The Lion King," and as Sammy Davis Jr. at Toronto's Cannon Theatre "The Rat Pack Show", as co-producer of "Soul to Soul" and performed in "Once on This Island".
George is the Producer, Artistic Directors and Foundational Sponsor of the Aurora jazz+ Festival (since 2009). This 3 day Award Winning Festival is now designated by Festival and Events Ontario as a Top 100 Festival in the Province of Ontario.
